What is FURY?

FURY is the body of young people aged 11-25 within the United Reformed Church. It is led by FURY Advisory Board (FAB) and FURY Executive (FE). There are two events at the national level each year:  URC Youth Assembly and FURY Forum. URC Youth Assembly is a weekend based around issues that matter to young people with workshops and the opportunity to bring Motions ensuring further work is carried out by FURY Advisory Board. FURY Forum is a more spiritual and theological weekend looking at issues that affect young people’s faith.

FURY is responsible for the publishing of f2 – a magazine about young people in the United Reformed Church. Click here to see the Spring 2012 Edition (.pdf 3.5MB).

FURY is an umbrella organisation including all young people associated with the United Reformed Church and as such encompasses organisations such as:

• British Youth Council
• Pilots
• URC Guide and Scout Fellowship

Away With Discrimination and Hatred – A Short Article Competition

All entries must be submitted by 31st May 2012, and should include the name, age and contact details of the author. Any questions relating to the competition should be sent to racial.justice@urc.org.uk
